Our group's time in Craven is coming to an end, the 90th anniversary of the split of Craven into East and West is upon them! Our adventurer's make the bold decision to go try to head off the dark wizard, hoping to keep him from rising from his tomb deep beneath Craven. After getting briefly side-tracked when Annie (the little girl they had previously met in the swamp) is seen in West Craven, the group ended up in a dangerous situation as the fate of hundreds of lives in East Craven suddenly rested in the hands of our mostly-capable group of vagabonds.
Now, having bested Amelia (the "conglomeration"), the group heads off toward the graveyard in pursuit of Jean, who revealed himself to be the cause of the swampie infestation and who has been in Craven working to release the dark wizard from his slumber. In order to catch up to him, the group will have to go through the old second entrance to the wizard's crypt, through the old Craven mausoleum in a sinking graveyard. Before they stand a chance of catching up with Jean, who had the benefit of teleportation, our heroes will have to face swampies and, worse yet, Northewyn's ghost herself! Only once these obstacles are faced will the group finally catch up to Jean and attempt to thwart his evil plan to wake Kasternovich. Will they succeed in stopping the ritual? Will they save Annie from her twisted father? Who is the strange individual calling out Lythander's name? All this and more found here in Episode 8!
