Coping with NPC Death | S1E6 (The Siblings Podcast)

Welcome to the Sibling's Podcast (a D&D 5e adventure)!

Our favorite group of vagabonds has picked up where they left off, in the middle of an earthquake!  Priorities are set as the group divides and conquers, quickly trying to help as many people as they can on both sides of Craven.  The natural disaster passes with minimal casualty, but man-made disaster strikes during the aftermath!  Two individuals in East Craven are shot by a would-be assassin, the second shot individual being Kip.  This puts East Craven into a new round of panic out of fear for their lives.  

Due to quick thinking on part of the PCs, both lives are saved.  Lythander chases down the assassin and searches for additional leads for the rest of the day while Anarchy and Jim continue being present in the city to help with relief efforts.  The group tries to unwind at the end of the day a little more light-heartedly, but nobody's hearts are truly light.  Once everyone turns in, Lythander sneaks back out with ill-will in his heart for people who wished Kip harm.  Anarchy is visited by her goddess (she suspects) and is given an ominous warning: "You need to prepare -- they're coming."

What does this ominous message mean?  Is Lythander finding his true calling as an assassin of assassins rather than just a thief?  Will Jim be the only one sleeping through the night soundly?  Tune in next week to find out!
